The world of IRIS is comprised of uncanny characters (though some of them may have no actual physical form or 5 extra eyes that look everywhere but at you or, perhaps, they aren’t even human - you feel as if this isn’t the first time you have met this strange creature), mountainous plains that seemingly never end, and is dotted with numerous small, mysterious villages all gated and protected by their own respective Guard Dog. You play as Iris, a high school girl who wakes up from her nap in this strange other-worldly plane, and comes to the conclusion that she somehow died - but as you interact with the world and its inhabitants (and this phone booth that seemingly appears out of no where wherever you go), you slowly come to realize that this may not be the afterlife, and you definitely might not be dead. How do you return home?
